DESCRIPTION:Commandé par la Société pédagogique neuchâteloise, ce long métrage présente le quotidien d’une classe de neuf niveaux aux Taillères, petite localité de La Brévine. Henry Brandt y filme durant une année les leçons de l’instituteur Charles Guyot. Au rythme des saisons, est dévoilé le quotidien pittoresque du village et de ses écoliers. Nouant avec la classe une relation de grande proximité, le cinéaste dépeint l’atmosphère scolaire du modeste établissement. L’enseignement de l’instituteur délaisse les leçons trop abstraites pour favoriser des travaux de groupe et une expression libre. Diffusée par Brandt en Suisse romande, cette œuvre touchante a rencontré un large succès et a durablement marqué les habitants de la région. (Loïc Salomé)\n
